There's something incredibly special about holding an item that was once owned and cherished by someone long ago. It's like holding a piece of their story in your hands. That's why we're so passionate about preserving vintage patterns and sewing collectables for the generations to come. That's what drives us and this is our story.

A vintage wedding

In 2014, my daughter's vintage-inspired wedding got my partner and me hooked on antique hunting. What began as a simple idea for dainty cups and saucers soon spiralled into a much grander vision. With sheer determination and dedication, we meticulously curated every detail of the wedding breakfast marquee with delicate antique tableware and original vintage interiors. The effect was not only breathtaking, it was magical.

A fledgling business

Soon after the wedding, Vintage White was born.

From quirky taxidermy like Muriel the one-eyed budgie to carousel horses (that briefly lodged in our bath), and orginal advertising pieces our signature style is eclectic. We love the unique and one-off pieces. Its immensely satisfying when they find their way to the right person - we hear so many wonderful stories.

We've also supplied vintage props to TV, film, and theatre productions, as well as collectibles to museums, and featured in Homes & Antiques magazine.

A new venture

In 2022, we bought a box of vintage sewing patterns which very quickly evolved into Vintage White Patterns.

Every week we scour flea fairs, antique events and carboots, searching out and rummaging through boxes for the next find. There's always the rush of pleasure when we discover 'new treasure' to add to our growing collection.

We hope that when you explore our pages, you too will find something inspiring to fuel your creativity.
