Antique Mother of Pearl Thread Winder – Scalloped Quatrefoil Silk Winder

A beautiful and functional piece of sewing history, this antique thread winder—also known as a silk winder—was traditionally used to store and organise silk and other fine threads, keeping them neat and free from tangles during sewing or embroidery.
